The Novec 1230 Fire Extinguishing System uses 3MTM NovecTM 1230 extinguishing fluid that is stored in the system’s extinguishing agent container(s) until system activation. The container assembly includes a welded or seamless steel cylinder filled with NovecTM 1230 fluid.
The Novec 1230 Fire Extinguishing System uses 3MTM NovecTM 1230 extinguishing fluid that is stored in the system’s extinguishing agent container(s) until system activation. The container assembly includes a welded or seamless steel cylinder filled with NovecTM 1230 fluid
At nominal pressure the contact is opened. Contact makes with falling pressure or anticlockwise pointer motion
The nozzles NCD are used as room protection nozzles in accordancewith system approval in VSN 1230fire extinguishing systems using the extinguishing agent NovecTM 1230.
They are used to supply the extinguishing agent within the calculated flow time and distribute it evenly throughout the extinguishing area.
The shuttle non-return valve is used in fixed high pressure C02, argon, nitrogen, IG-55 and IG-541 fire extinguishing systems or in VSN 1230/200 fire extinguishing systems according the system approval.
The selector valve BV DN 25/40/50 is used in accordance with the "documentation of special extinguishing systems" in fixed C02, argon, nitrogen, IG-55 and IG-541 high pressure fire extinguishing systems or VSN 1230/200 fire systems respectively.
In case of fire the selector valve DN 25/40/50 is used for flooding selected extinguishing zones.
The manifold selector valve BV DN65/80/100 pneumatic is used in accordance with "documentation of special extinguishing systems" in: - fixed C02- high pressure fire extinguishing systems - argon-, nitrogen, IG-55-, IG-541 extinguishing systems with Constant Flow (CF)
The safety device malfunction pressure is used in accordance with the project-specific system schema in fixed fire extinguishing systems. The safety device malfunction pressure is intended only for releasing small amounts of leakage in pneumatic pilot lines. The safety device closes automatically on higher pressure.
Pneumatic actuation of extinguishing agent cylinder valves of type 887669. One extinguishing agent cylinder valve each can be openend pneumatically
The release device PAE electrical must only be used in accordance with system approval in stationary carbon dioxide, argon, nitrogen, VSN 200 and VSN 1230 fire extinguishing systems. The release device PAE provides all pneumatic system parts with carbon dioxide (C02) as work medium and is used to activate:
- Cylinder batteries
- Selector valves
- Pneumatic control elements and alarm components (makrofon)
- Pneumatic door closing devices
- Pneumatic pressure relief dampers.
The release device EM may be used only in accordance with the "documentation of special extinguishing systems" in fixed C02, argon, nitrogen, IG-55 and IG-541fire extinguishing systems. It is used for electrical release of lever valve.
The monitoring loss pneumatic activation device may only be used in accordance with system approval in stationary C02-, argon-and nitrogen fire extinguishing systems. It facilitates monitoring of the permissible loss (5% - 10% supply per control cylinder). If the permissible margin of loss is exceeded the beam weight falls and actuates a reed contact limit switch.
The limit switch sends a fault message to the monitoring control panel and the fault is indicated locally via LED.
Pneumatic timer PV-3-BND, Control device pneum. SEP-2 and SEP-2-B.
The limit switch pneum. operated may only be used in accor* dance with system approval in stationary C02, argon and nitrogen fire extinguishing systems.
To connect the valve of the extinguishing agent cylinder to the nozzle pipe, the manifold, or the check valve.
To connect:
- The master extinguishing agent cylinder and the
pneum. release devices of other extinguishing agent cylinder
- Two pneumatical release devices
- The pneumatical release device and the pilot pipe of multi zone systems
The pilot control manifold DN 15 may only be used in accordance with system approval in stationary C02, argon, nitrogen, IG-55, IG-541 and VSN 1230/200 fire extinguishing systems. It is used as a pilot control valve in the pneumatic activation of fire extinguishing systems or as a C02 extinguishing agent manifold for small design quantity.
Rigid connection between the valve of the extinguishing agent cylinder and the downstream piping.
When using more than one cylinder at a conjointly pipework a check valve is to be used with each cylinder between cylinder and pipework or manifold.
This prevents that extinguishant gets to not operated valves or escapes unaimed with dismounted cylinders.
